I really love the show guys, I look forward to listening on my morning commute. One tiny nitpick: Danielle swears too much, it's quite off-putting especially since she's otherwise quite eloquent and the boys don't swear ever.

Fegredo says, "This is the point in the book where everything changes. Whilst working on the other hellboy books I'd developed a line and wash style that seemed to lend itself to my take on hellboy. When we started talking about "midnight circus", I suggested to Mike that maybe I could draw the book in this style. Mike wisely suggested that we should maybe split the book between ink and line and wash. It was a good call; it immediately suggested a transition between two worlds-harsh reality and the softer, darker, more ethereal dream world of the Circus. The placing of that transition was then obvious: the moment hellboy crosses over the broken wall, he breaches the dream world. It's very much the moment the black and white Dorothy wakes to the technicolor splendor of Oz. Every page went through a similar process, thumbnail scrawled on a script, then a rough layout drawn at print size. That layout would be scanned, and printed out larger so I could then place it on a light box and transfer it, corrected, on to waterolor paper. Next, ink the line work, and either finish it with solid ink or watercolor, depending what was needed. I expected this transition to be tricky as it combined both, but it went relatively smoothly.
